About Us

Fineseat has been delivering high quality products in the Australian market since 1986.
The company manufactures a wide range of office seating and trades exclusively through
select independent office furniture dealers across Australia. 

We focus on the need for ergonomics, versatility and comfort across all of our seating ranges
and we believe in personal service and attention to detail.

When formed, the company employed four people and manufactured from a small facility
in Alexandria NSW. Through Fineseat’s commitment to service and product excellence it has
grown to be one of Australia’s leading and best known manufacturers and importers
of commercial seating.

Fineseat now operates in a combined space of over 10,000 square meters and employs over
40 people. We produce and distribute across Australia more than 50,000 chairs each year.

Fineseat is an Australian owned and operated company. We are proud to be supporting
Australian industry and Australian jobs.

Our People

Fineseat has an energetic team of sales and support staff around Australia who are
committed to manufacturing and service excellence. Over 80% of the staff employed by
Fineseat have been  with the company for more than 10 years. This combined experience
ensures a  greater understanding  and support for the needs of our customers. So when
you speak to a member of the Fineseat team you can be assured you are speaking to
someone who truly understands seating.

Manufacturing

Our companies' combined manufacturing experience totals over 60 years. A direct benefit
of that experience flows into the following four areas:

• Product design
• Research and Development
• Manufacturing processes
• Warehousing and Distribution

In addition, Fineseat has established key manufacture and supply agreements with
international seating and furniture companies such as the Fursys Group from Korea,
incorporating the Sidiz range of seating and the Global Group from Canada.

Relationships such as these add an exceptional level of experience to The Fineseat Australian operation.
